U.P. State Credit Union is a member-owned credit union serving Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. Since 1955, we’ve been helping our neighbors save, borrow, and plan for the future—combining modern banking tools with personal service. Our commitment to serving our communities and members has led the way as we’ve grown and will continue to guide us each day.

OUR HISTORY
We began as a small cooperative in Escanaba with one mission: provide fair, accessible financial services. Today, we’ve grown with the U.P. while keeping the same community-first values.

HOW TO JOIN
Bring your Driver’s License or other identifying documents to one of our locations in Norway, Escanaba, St. Ignace, Cedarville, Kincheloe, or Sault Ste. Marie. Our friendly account openers will get you set up quickly. We will need your address, date of birth, and social security number to open your account. By making a $5 deposit into a share (savings) account, you can enjoy all the benefits of being a UPSCU member.
