POWER UP Checking Account

To earn the 3.04% APY on up to $10,000.00, your POWER UP Checking Account must meet these requirements each month:

• Be a personal account (business and organization accounts are not eligible)
• Be enrolled in eStatements
• Complete 15 debit card transactions of $5 or more (PIN, signature, or credit)
• Receive an aggregate of $1,000.00 or more in deposits into any subaccount (teller, ACH, remote, cash, and/or ATM transactions)
• Log into home banking at least once
• Have a valid email address, valid physical address, and valid phone number on file

If you do not meet the account requirements for that month, the money in the POWER UP Checking Account will earn 0.15% APY, UPSCU's regular checking account rate.

The POWER UP Checking Account does not have a minimum account balance requirement. However, you are only able to earn the 3.04% APY on up to $10,000.00. Any amount over $10,000.00 earns 0.15% APY.

• For example, if your balance is $11,000.00, $10,000.00 will earn 3.04% APR and $1,000.00 will earn 0.15% APY.
