U.S. Savings Bonds

They’re the classic, traditional gift for anyone at anytime.

U.P. State Credit Union offers Series EE bonds in denominations of $50, $75, $200, $500, $1,000, $5,000 and $10,000 to both members and non-members. They have final maturity terms of 30 years and can be redeemed 12 months after purchase. These Bonds are issued at 50% of the face value. For example, a $50 bond costs only $25. The bonds are guaranteed to reach face value in 17 years.

We also offer Series I bonds. These are bought at face value (at $50, $75, $100, $200, $500, $1,000, $5,000 and $10,000) and the interest rate is calculated as a earning of a fixed rate of return and a semi-annual inflation rate based on the Consumer Price Index.

State Credit Union offers Traveler’s Cheques in denominations of $50 and $100.

When you want to access your checking account, the numbers must be exactly as shown on the bottom of your personal checks! The routing number is on the left. Your membership number is in the middle. The number on the bottom right of your check is the check number of the particular check you are looking at.
